LET this be a lesson to obama and hillary, constitutions are made to be followed not corrupted. freedom will not be usurped or given freely away here either. its nice to see honduras as small as it is stand up for its freedom.
Hugo Chávez’s coalition-building efforts suffered a setback yesterday when the Honduran military sent its president packing for abusing the nation’s constitution.
It seems that President Mel Zelaya miscalculated when he tried to emulate the success of his good friend Hugo in reshaping the Honduran Constitution to his liking.
But Honduras is not out of the Venezuelan woods yet. Yesterday the Central American country was being pressured to restore the authoritarian Mr. Zelaya by the likes of Fidel Castro, Daniel Ortega, Hillary Clinton and, of course, Hugo himself. The Organization of American States, having ignored Mr. Zelaya’s abuses, also wants him back in power. It will be a miracle if Honduran patriots can hold their ground.
DNR to match farmers with hunters State wildlife officials want to bring the state’s deer hunters together with Indiana farmers who are fed up with deer eating their crops. A new online tool developed by the DNR aims to pair farmers and landowners who want fewer deer on their land with hunters who need a place to hunt. Hunters must submit an online application between July 1 and Aug. 30 through the online Hunters Helping Farmers program. Hunters can submit up to two counties where they’d like to hunt. Farmers can then select the hunters they’d like to interview for the right to hunt on their land. Hunters must adhere to all bag limits, antlerless deer quotas and license fees. Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry says he’s in favor of an ordinance that would give Indiana companies preference as the city makes decisions on large purchases. The ordinance would allow the city to accept bids from Indiana companies, even if they are higher than out-of-state companies. Mayor Henry says in an economy like this, keeping money local is important.
IM SORRY WHAT????? in bad economic times he wants to spend more money on the exact same service just because its local? how is that a responsible act? arent we all americans? did henry beg for stimulus money? so basicaly he is saying we will take your tax money but were not going to buy your products even if they are cheaper and better.
TOO BAD IF HE WERE A DEMOCRAT WE WOULD OVERLOOK THIS (THEY HAVE NO MORALS) BUT WHEN ONE OF OURS DOES IT……WELL LETS JUST SAY ITS BEEN NICE KNOWING YOU GOVENOR.
IT MAY come as a surprise but i agree with the administration dont say or do anything for these people protesting in iran.
YOU GET WHAT WHAT YOU GET!
these people have the exact kind of government they wanted a theocratic dictator. its what they slaughtered innocents for in the revolution its what they held our hostages for. its what they are trying to carry out all over the mid and far east. these people are butchers and now im supposed to feel some sort of kinship with them? there bloody murderers and have been since the 70’s.
let them slaughter each other ill sit back and watch its what they deserve.
Just wanted to pass along a couple of pics from the “Walk”
Bill “Casa D’ice” put Kurt on his billboard this week. His restaurant is famous for it’s political signs and if you haven’t seen them they are all posted on the web!
We meet a bunch of guys from a Michigan Gold Wing club at the sign while we were taking pictures! Great bunch!
Right now we are in western PA…it’s kind of hilly so Kurt’s moving a little slower than his speedy 4 mph.
Tomorrow we meet with a couple who heard about us on Plaines Radio. This is a great station and if you have not listened before, check out the show from 6-8 central time Monday -Friday. www.plainsradio.com These folks have millions of listeners and Kurt is on at least once a week.
In Ohio we camped near the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall. What a site. We are truly a country of wimps.
Take care all…The mosquitoes are biting so I have to go. I won’t be camping for loooong time once I’m home!
Keep up to good work all!
